3RD INTERNATIONAL MINERAL WATER CONGRESS ANNOUNCEMENT

• Our congress is open to the participation of all professional groups working in the fields of food and health.
• The official language of the congress is English.
• The congress will be held on 26-27 November 2024, and oral presentations will be conducted online on November 27, 2024.
• According to the regulations of the Turkish Interuniversity Board (ÜAK), our congress holds international status. It meets all the criteria required for faculty appointments, associate professorship, and professorship positions. In accordance with the decision of the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) dated August 9, 2023, the congress is in the 3-point category. Official documentation regarding the organization of the congress required for associate professorship applications will be shared with participants, along with participation certificates and the abstract booklet after the congress.
• All abstracts must be prepared and presented only in English.
• An award for the best oral presentation will be given. The jury will evaluate the oral presentations and rank the top three research presentations as 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd. The results will be communicated in writing to the Congress Scientific Committee. The award evaluation will be conducted by the Congress Scientific Committee.
• Information regarding the results and award presentation will be announced on the congress website.
• The award will be given to the individual who delivers the presentation personally.
• Oral presentation time is 7 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for questions.
• Abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system (kongre.madensuyu.org). Abstracts submitted via fax, photocopy, or email will not be accepted. The deadline for abstract submission is 23:59 on 3 November 2024.
• Abstracts will be evaluated as they are submitted by the abstract deadline. No changes, including corrections for typographical errors, incorrect data, etc., will be allowed after this date.
• Authors can submit up to one abstract as a presenting author and as many abstracts as desired as co-authors.
• The submitting author must obtain approval from all co-authors before including their names on the abstract. This responsibility lies with the submitting author.
• One author must be designated as the presenting author, and their name must be written in bold in the abstract submission.
• The evaluation of abstracts and the selection of the best oral presentation will be based on the following criteria: originality of the research, research methodology, findings and analysis, depth of discussion, and the clarity and comprehensibility of the presentation.
• Acceptance or rejection emails regarding the abstracts will be sent to you by 11 November 2024.
• Information emails regarding oral presentations (Zoom link and oral presentation criteria) will be sent to the email address provided by the presenting author during submission.
• Abstracts that do not comply with the format specified in the Abstract Writing Guide on the congress website will not be accepted. You can access the Abstract Writing Guide and the Congress Topics at kongre.madensuyu.org.
