Volkan Mutlu Coşkun
Volkan Mutlu Coşkun was born in 1971 in Van.
He undertook his elementary education in Kayseri, Erzurum, Bursa and Kahramanmaraş and completed high school in Şanlıurfa.
V.M. Coşkun graduated from Istanbul Technical University Meteorology Engineering with honors. He also completed a degree in Economics from Anadolu University.
He worked as an Engineer at the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI), Operation and Maintenance Department between 1993 and 2003.
He worked as branch manager for several units within the DSI between 2004 and 2011.
V.M. Coşkun worked as a Private Secretary at the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock between 2011 and 2014.
He was appointed as the Ministry Counselor on 11.06.2014 and served as the Ministry’s Private Secretary.
He was appointed as Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock on 27.08.2015.
Appointed as the Ministry Counselor on 23.02.2017, V.M. Coşkun served as the Deputy Undersecretary between 04.12.2017-19.08.2018.
Appointed as the General Manager of Meteorology on August 19, 2018, Mr. Coşkun represents Turkey in international organizations as the Permanent Representative of Turkey and a Member of the WMO 6th Regional Union (European Region) Management Group at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Mr. Coşkun was unanimously elected as a member of the WMO Executive Council by the 18th World Meteorology Congress on 13 June 2019. He will represent the 6th Regional Union (European Region) for the period 2019-2022 in the Executive Council.
V.M. Coşkun, who was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Grain Board (TMO) on 11 November 2019, carried out this duty until 3 June 2022.
He continues his duty as the General Manager of Meteorology in the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, which was newly established with the Presidential Decree on 29.10.2021.

Graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. Kınık received his PhD of Disaster Medicine from Bezmialem Vakıf University Health Sciences Institute. Worked as an administrator in the Ministry of Health and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, as a council member in the Istanbul 10th Term Provincial Assembly and as the chairman of the Health Commission. He represented Istanbul in the European Union Regional Assembly Health and Social Policies Commission. Kınık, who also works as general manager in some national and international technology companies, still works as a faculty member at the University of Health Sciences and he is also the Head of Emergency and Disaster Management Department of same university. Starting from his university years, he volunteered for humanitarian aid in various organizations. Worked as a volunteer physician during the Kosovo War and the Marmara Earthquake. Served as the President of Doctors Worldwide Turkey and led humanitarian activities and projects in numerous conflict and disaster areas such as Pakistan, Palestine, Central Africa, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has written many articles on humanitarian aid, immigration policies, development, humanitarian law and humanitarian diplomacy. He was elected as the Deputy Chairman in 2015 and as the Chairman in 2016 in the Türk Kızılay, which he entered voluntarily in 2004. From 2015 to November 2017, he was a board member of the IFRC International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. He was elected as the IFRC Vice President responsible for Europe and Central Asia Region at the 21st IFRC Legal Meetings held in Antalya on 6 November 2017. During his term as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Türk Kızılay made significant progress in terms of restructuring and institutional development, increasing volume, efficiency and productivity, and internationalization. He speaks English and intermediate-level Arabic.

He was born in Trabzon in 1972. He graduated from the department of Forest Engineering at Istanbul University in 1994. During in his professional life, which started in 1994, he held various positions such as middle and senior management and member of the board of directors on supply chain, production, logistics, and general management in various industries such as textile, automotive, retail, franchising and, in particular, food. After studying Industrial Engineering, he received his MBA from Kennesaw State University and his MA in Public Policy from Georgia State University. During this time, he started his professional career as a process development engineer at Assurant Solutions, which is one of the Fortune 500 companies. After working as a Coordinator at Kuehne Nagel, he returned to Turkey and founded the innovation consultancy firm QGroup. He managed the strategic planning processes at TUBITAK and designed the institution's innovation management processes. He worked with the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV) on the development of innovative tools.
He has provided consultancy and training to many companies such as Halk Bank, TRT Belgesel, TTGV, Uludağ Beverage, Telateks A.Ş., Turkcell Global Bilgi, Havelsan, Eczacıbaşı Vitra, and others. Strategic Opportunity Canvas, Strategy Map, Strategic Business Model Design, Strategic Innovation Canvas, S-BUD, S3M-i (Strategic Management Maturity Model), and many other tools, methods, and models for innovation developed by Demir, whose portfolio includes many organizations from SMEs to multinational companies, from public institutions to non-governmental organizations.
Ferhat Demir teaches part-time communication and innovation courses at the Global Business School Barcelona and Bilgi University. Tuğba Şimşek was born in Bursa in 1981. She graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Chemistry in 2005. Ali Gizer worked as an instructor at the Faculty of Communication, İstanbul University. With his researcher identity, he has been a manager, consultant, and trainer in many private sector organizations in his professional life for more than 30 years. Furthermore, he served as an Instructor at the universities of Istanbul, Yeditepe, Istanbul Aydın, and Bahçeşehir, and he still continues to teach at Koç University LSI.
Currently, through the company GTALLIANCE UK, which he is the founder of and the consultancy organizations he actively supports, he provides research, sustainability, and strategic management consultancy services.
For numerous national and international companies, which are leaders within their sectors, he offers services in the areas of preparation of the companies' sustainability policies and strategies, development, and reporting of action plans, and follow-up systems and also gives numerous public seminars and training on the platform.

Aslı Fırat Esen completed BA in Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and her MA in WASTE (air quality control, solid waste and wastewater process engineering) at Stuttgart University. After completing his PhD at Istanbul Technical University Food Engineering Department in 2000, Prof. Berat Özçelik continued his post-doctoral studies at Ohio State University, Food Science Department with a scholarship. He was appointed as Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor in 2012 at ITU Food Engineering Department.
Prof. Berat Özçelik is a full-time faculty member at Istanbul Technical University and served as Dean for 2 terms at ITU Faculty of Chemistry and Metallurgy and served 2 terms as Department Head and Rector’s Advisor at ITU Food Engineering Department.
Prof. Beraat Özçelik’s main work areas are the production of functional food, the extraction, characterization and purification of some bioactive components such as antioxidants and peptides from plant food wastes and/or plant foods, including their bioavailability with nano and micro encapsulation, and their use in the production of new products and nutritional supplements. He has also conducted studies on the application of sensory analysis on productions. He has over 100 international articles and magazine editorships in internationally respected journals, and he is the founder of a company named BIOACTIVE, which conducts research on functional food production at ITU Technokent.

Having completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Günseli Özen received her graduate education from the Faculty of Business Administration, also at Istanbul University. She founded Rota Publications 31 years ago, in 1990, when she realized that the publications that focus on business and the economy in Turkey are not enough. She took over Turkey's first marketing and marketing communications magazine Marketing Turkey in 2002 and became its publisher.
Özen, who has served on the jury of the Golden Drum and European Premium Creativity (EPICA) Awards, one of the most important creativity festivals in Europe for 20 years, organizes events that are one of the important building blocks of publishing under the umbrella of Marketing Turkey. The Interactive Marketing Summit (IPZ) series, which started in Anatolia 18 years ago and whose agenda is determined according to the needs of each city is among the prominent ones.
Özen's books include “İş Dünyasında Mükemmelliği Arayanlara” “Sabunun Tarihi”, in which Hacı Şakir and Turkey's soap and detergent history are written., “Çivit Maviden Kar Beyaza” and “Başarı Tesadüf Değildir” series consisting of three books. She has a total of six books.
Günseli Özen, who continues to write in Marketing Turkey's online and offline channels, has been the Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council since 2020. Taking an active role in supporting women entrepreneurs with the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Innovation Consultancy, which she undertook in 2017, Özen continues to work on the implementation of inclusive business models and the investments of companies that carry out their activities both nationally and internationally in this region. Yunus Emre Akkor was born in 1975 in Kilis.
With 25 years of experience in the kitchen and researching different food cultures, he has become a specialist in Ottoman, Anatolian and Middle Eastern food culture.
He was rewarded the Presidential Culture and Art Grand Award in 2022.
Yunus Emre Akkor’s programs have been broadcasted on national television for many years. One of these is the documentary on food history, which consists of five seasons and sixty-five episodes, broadcasted on Turkey’s culture and arts channel TRT2. Various parts of the documentary were broadcasted on international social and digital media with subtitles in thirty-four languages.
Awarded by the General Directorate of Social Services for his social work, Akkor has received many accomplishments in cooking competitions.
Yunus Emre Akkor has received many degrees of appreciation from NGOs and government organizations for his contributions of promoting Turkish culinary culture.
He organizes special events and workshops in fairs conducted by the Turkish Ministry of Culture overseas.
His book ‘Ottoman Sea Cuisine’ won the ‘Best Fish and Seafood Book’ award in 2012 in the ‘Gourmand World CookBook’ awards, which is known as the Nobel of cookbooks.
In July 2014, Akkor’s two new books named ‘Homemade Ice Creams’ and ‘Ottoman Cuisine from Tradition to Universal’ were published by Alfa publishing house.
His most recent book, ‘Kayseri Cuisine’ won the ‘world’s best local cookbook’ award in the Gourmand World Cookbook awards in 2020.
Akkor is a writer for Skylife, the official magazine of Turkish Airlines. He works as a lecturer in Gastronomy at various different universities.

Mehmet Ömer Kızıl
M. Ömer Kızıl graduated from Uludağ University, Department of Economics in 1996. He has been working at Uludağ İçecek since 1989. Having begun his professional life at a young age, he gained experience in different companies between 1989 and 1995. He worked as Media and Public Relations Manager between 1995 and 2001 and as Sales Deputy General Manager between 2001 - 2010. He has been at the same role since.
In 2007, M. Ömer Kızıl successfully completed the Turquality program that was designed in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, Sabanci and Koc universities.
M. Ömer Kızıl is currently also head of the Bursa Philharmonic Association, Turkey Spring Water Producers Association (MASUDER), a board member of the European Federation of Bottled Waters (EFBW), Turkey Basketball Federation board member, Bursa Industrial and Businessmen Association, Bursaspor Board member and a member of BURDA SKAL.
M. Ömer Kızıl is married and the father of two children.
