He was born in Trabzon in 1972. He graduated from the department of Forest Engineering at Istanbul University in 1994. During in his professional life, which started in 1994, he held various positions such as middle and senior management and member of the board of directors on supply chain, production, logistics, and general management in various industries such as textile, automotive, retail, franchising and, in particular, food. Coca-Cola, Ülker, Pınar, Panda, and Desa are among the companies he worked at. Metin Kul has been serving as the General Manager of Kızılay Beverage since 2019.
